Ontario folks: Have any of you ever seen the sign pictured at left? According to the Driver’s Handbook (which I’m reading to get ready for my M1 test — I feel like I’m 16 again) it’s a “Novice Driver” sign that works like the “L” learner’s plates in the UK, but I’ve never seen one in use, not even on driver’s-ed vehicles. While I see the value of a “new driver, be careful” sign, I’m wondering if a “N, what does that mean, let me drive closer to read the small print” sign might not be such a great idea. |

Never saw anything like it when I was learning to drive, nor in any driver’s handboodk. Must be new, I guess.
I (and my brothers) got one of those when we got our G1s.
We never put them up, heh.
Hmm. I didn’t get one when I got my G1. I do recall a blurb about it in the handbook, though. Haven’t seen it since.
Only seen it in BC.
ditto.
I wanted to take one for a souvenier XD;;;
I actually did take one.
It’s been on my car for two years, across the continent three times –
and now everyone in Montreal wonders what the hell it means.
