I tried herringbone, but you really wouldn’t like herringbone. It’s a moire! But at least it’s better than what I used to have.

I’ve got a 7290. I realize that that’s the fundamental problem here :-) But that’s what Mitel provides. Mostly I’m happy to have a new phone that isn’t my work pager, I think — it just also happens to be a modern phone too. Outside of work-related stuff I didn’t really need a data plan — I was just after voice, SMS, and cheap, and happened to get a new phone that has the features phones tend to have but the 7290 didn’t.

2) What BB do you have? The 8xxx series (8100 or Pearl, 8700 and 8800) all support mp3 ringtones. And the 4.2.1 application bundle has voice dialling. I don’t know if the voice dialling works through the bluetooth headset as I don’t have one of those.
