The venue was great, the piper was *amazing*, the food was fantastic and the company (well, the folks at my table anyway, didn’t get to socialize much) were all interesting and lots of fun to chat with. Nice pics too, can’t wait to see more. I’m glad I got to be there. Congrats again!

There was some amusing confusion during the group photos. Kyle, my step-brother, brought a date, but Sarah (step-sister) and Kieran (half-brother) didn’t because 17- and 16-year-olds don’t get to bring dates on out-of-town trips (cough). Anyhow, since Sarah is very obviously not a blood relative of mine, and since Kieran sort of is, it was only in the last few photos that the photographers figured out that Sarah was not Kieran’s date.

They both thought that was pretty gross.
