(I got lots of “command cannot be found” that make me wonder whether it’s shelling out to the OS or whatever and expects to find /bin/ls etc. around; even “echo” wasn’t found, which I’d expect to be built into the shell nowadays.)

And I discover that vi is really limited – no “:s/a/b/” for instance. But it’s still a cool fun little hack.
