When Willis left me blissfully alone and I had to buy loads of furniture, where did I go? Yes, I went to IKEA. I went because I enjoy the place so and I wanted some quantity-type bang for my buck.
As I sat there in the waiting area for setting up a delivery, I noticed a very attractive blonde. Could I say something? What do you say to someone who is waiting in this area of IKEA? Luckily (or not), I never had to figure that out, as her very attractive blonde guy joined her shortly thereafter. So it goes.
A couple of days later I saw them at Bed, Bath & Beyond while I was buying pillows. The universe mocks me.
Well, yes it does. But what do you expect if you’re going to say things like “I went to IKEA. I went because I enjoy the place so and I wanted some quantity-type bang for my buck” in this context. :-)
hahaha i was just getting ready to go to one of our ikeas to look for some new drapes for the computer room and saw your post! i wonder if it’s happening here, not that i could partake. i think it’s a funny little idea if not taken too serious.
i went through the ikea phase long ago but i see everyone getting so excited about it now and it brings back fun memories. i can totally see how something like this would happen. ;)
They did theatre at the local Ikea a couple of years ago (“The Swedish Play”). Actors moved around the various model rooms and you listened to their dialogue over a headset. While people were shopping around you.
Interesting concept but I’m told it wasn’t all that good.
